Dr Mairi-Clare Ferguson MBChB, MRCGP, MRCPDerm is a consultant dermatologist and Mohs’ Surgeon working in Christchurch.

She graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2002.  She completed her dermatology training in Scotland and Ireland. Following this, she did a fellowship in Mohs’ micrographic surgery and skin surgery, at the prestigious Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, and is an accredited Mohs’ surgeon by the British Association of Dermatologists. She has a special interest in skin cancer diagnosis and has undertaken extensive advanced training in dermoscopy.  She has recently implemented the latest Fotofinder technology to enhance detection and recording of skin lesions.  She is practicing Mohs' Micrographic Surgery at a private clinic in Christchurch.

In addition, Dr Ferguson provides a dermatology outpatient service for South Canterbury District Heath Board.'
