Interests and Facilities:
Mole Review
General skin checks are available for moles and skin cancer
Skin Cancer Surgery
Dr Strack surgically treats most types of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer. The first step in this process is, of course, an accurate clinical diagnosis before planning surgery. Cases are done as day cases under local anaesthetic.
Review of Medical Dermatological Problems
Non-surgical problems such as eczema, acne and psoriasis can be reviewed and treated. There are over two thousand different skin diseases and syndromes. In addition, most people with some of the more common skin problems have some factors which make their own situation unusual or unique. Treatment is tailored to the specific individual and their circumstances.
Lifestyle and/or Dietary Review
For some medical skin problems, a review of diet or other lifestyle factors may benefit the skin in conjunction with conventional medical treatment when required.
Allergy Testing
Contact allergy testing is available for patients with suspected contact allergy. Note this service does not generally test for food allergies but these can be investigated in other ways.
