Dr Kim is a vocationally registered specialist dermatologist.
She grew up on the North Shore and graduated from The University of Auckland Medical School, then undertook specialist dermatology training in the Auckland and Waikato regions. She furthered her training with a dermatology fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London UK, where she subsequently worked as a locum consultant dermatologist before returning to New Zealand.
Dr Kim is a currently a consultant dermatologist at Middlemore Hospital and Manukau Super Clinic. Her private practice is based at Auckland Dermatology and Greenlane Medical Specialists in Remuera. She is involved in the training of dermatology registrars and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland.
