Dr Darshan Singh is a New Zealand qualified and registered dermatologist and is a fellow of New Zealand Dermatology Society. He did his advanced training in dermatology medicine and dermatology surgery after finishing his fellowship in internal medicine. During his advanced training he worked in Waikato Hospital, Auckland Greenlane Hospital and Liverpool, UK. Dr Singh is a very experienced dermatologist dealing with all kinds of complex skin problems and skin cancer surgery and check-ups. His achievements include presentations in dermatology both international and national conferences and also publications in prestigious general dermatology journals.

His particular interests include mole checks, skin cancer diagnosis and skin cancer surgery. His other interests include psoriasis, eczema, pigmentary disorders and skin infections. He is also a consultant dermatologist in Palmerston North and Wanganui hospitals and is involved in teaching activities for general practitioners and junior doctors in the hospitals.

The Dermatology Centre in Palmerston North, was established in 2008 and is a very well established centre of excellence for dermatology and cosmetic services in the Manawatu region. This is the only centre in Manawatu Region providing comprehensive service for dermatological problems and cosmetic treatments which is run by a New Zealand qualified and registered dermatologist on site.

Medical and surgical services include skin cancer surgery including flaps and skin grafts, access to phototherapy and allergy (patch) testing. Cosmetic services include Botox, fillers, VPL and Dermapen (for acne scarring).

It is situated centrally and is run in a purpose build modern building with excellent in house facilities and excellent parking facilities.
